Personalized Prayer Letter Ministry Encourages Others

LaChelle P. Anderson, who ministers to people by offering letters and messages of encouragement, recently received a testimony that lets her know that her ministry is on the right track.

LaChelle was asked to write a letter for a young lady who was about to be baptized and the following is the result:

“Glory to God!,” the testimony began. “The mother of the young lady I had a prayer letter prepared for was so blessed by and grateful for it, that she took and shared it at the young lady’s baptism service the following Sunday so that all who love her could also be in agreement. God is awesome!”

Receiving a personalized letter with a prayer specifically for your need or an inspirational message designed just for you is almost unheard of in this age of impersonal communication and superficial relationships.

However, FirstFruits Living Publications, is making this a reality. FirstFruits Living Publications is a division of FirstFruits Living Ministries, both of which are founded by LaChelle. Based in Redford Township, Michigan, the ministry provides Personalized Prayer Letters, Personalized Inspirational Messages, and other products to those who want to bring encouragement to family members, friends or others for whom you are praying. Whether they are incarcerated, or in the hospital, in the military or at home, the recipients of these personalized messages will know that someone cares about them and is praying for them.

The Prayer Letters began over 10 years ago as a way to bless friends, co-workers and family members with a special personalized gift for birthdays, holidays or to celebrate a special occasion using God’s words, LaChelle says.

“They would come back to me and request that I create one for their loved ones as well,” says LaChelle, a 2009 graduate of Word of Faith Bible School in Southfield, Michigan. “In 2012, the Lord put it on my heart to do the personalized prayer letters as a business and donate 10% of the profits to organizations that support the needy, homeless and fatherless.”  The prayer letters and inspirational messages and other products offered by the ministry, are called “GodAids” because they are similar to documents that promote a business, but these are documents that “promote God’s business,” LaChelle says.

The way it works is the ministry uses God’s words to intercede with the person who is ordering the letter. The ministry and the person ordering the products come together in what LaChelle calls a “prayer agreement, with God in the midst.” God’s words are being prayed over the situation of the person who will receive the prayer letter. As LaChelle and the person who asks for the letter prays, they believe God will answer the prayer for the person who will receive the letter.

Here is a sample of a personalized prayer letter for someone who needs healing:

Personalized Prayer Letter for Mary Smith

We give praise and thanksgiving to Jehovah Rapha, our Lord and Redeemer of healing on behalf of Mary Smith. We get in prayer agreement that Mary Smith is healed from the crown of her head to the tips of her toes; with complete wholeness in every area of her mind, body and soul in Jesus name.

Mary Smith is a virtuous woman of God who diligently seeks the Lord, meditating on his word day and night and acknowledges God in all of her ways. Mary Smith puts her complete faith, trust and reliance in and upon the Lord; from whence cometh her help. For Mary Smith knows that with God nothing shall be impossible and nothing is too hard for God. Healing was manifested when Jesus died on the cross and by his stripes Mary Smith is Healed.

May Mary Smith daily make the following confessions:

• Mary is more than a conqueror (Romans 8:27)

• God causes Mary to triumph (2 Corinthians 2:14)

• Goodness and mercy shall follow Mary all the days of her life (Psalm 23:6).

Father, we thank you for answered prayer concerning Mary Smith always remembering that he was wounded for Mary Smith’s transgressions; he was bruised for Mary Smith’s iniquities. The chastisement of Mary Smith’s peace was upon him and with his stripes Mary Smith is healed. For God’s mercy endureth forever. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen!

Don’t Live a Life of Woulda, Shoulda, Coulda by LaChelle P. Anderson

Mary Smith, don’t live a life of woulda, shoulda, could as. What does that mean? Don’t live a life of regrets of what would have been, what should have been or what could have been. Live the expected life God laid out for you. The Bible tells us that God says, ‘For I know the thoughts and plans that I have toward Mary Smith,  thoughts of peace and not of evil, for Mary Smith to have an expected end. (Jeremiah 29:11)

He says, “My Beloved Mary Smith, I wish above all things that you prosper and be in good health, even as your soul prospers.”  (3 John 1:2)

Mary Smith, God wants you to prosper and to have a good life.  He created you.  You are his child.  What parent doesn’t want the best for his child?  But you have to make a decision to believe that God wants more for you than you could ever want for yourself and that he’ll make it happen when you put all of your trust in him and lean not into your own understanding. (Prov 3:5)

In the Bible, the book of Luke 15: 12-32, we read about the Prodigal son.  Prodigal is defined as one that expends money extravagantly or without necessity.  This young man decides he wants to receive the dowry (money) promised to him when his Dad dies – now – while his Dad is alive. So the Dad gives him the dowry and the son takes off to party and blow off his money on whatever he desires.  Pretty soon the son is broke and eating worst than the pigs.  One day the son realizes that he has nothing left.  No friends, no money, no food, no place to stay or job to fall back to.  You see, the son was living a life of woulda, shoulda, couldas, because he had made choices to live the way he wanted.  He wasn’t living the expected life his Dad had planned for him or the life his heavenly father had planned for him.

For some people losing everything can be a point of turning to drugs, alcohol, gambling, etc… even thoughts of suicide.  But that doesn’t have to be your story.  Mary Smith, ask God to forgive you right now.  Tell him you don’t want to live a life of woulda, shoulda, couldas, but you want the expected life he planned for you.

At the end of the Bible story, the Prodigal son’s life completely turns around, because he completely returns to his father.  I pray Mary Smith, that you’ll completely return to your heavenly father and allow him to restore unto you the expected end he always had planned for you.

God’s Blessings to you!

Father, I pray in the name of Jesus for Mary Smith. That Mary Smith may not miss it to the left nor to the right.  That the eyes of Mary Smith’s understanding will be enlightened and that she will know the hope of his calling to all those who are called according to your will and purpose. May Mary Smith live the life you have planned for her and live it more abundantly. Amen!
