A Prayer on this Day of Shock and Heartbreak

Watch and Pray

Watch and Pray

Editor’s Note: We found this prayer by Ravi Zacharias to be the most appropriate for these tragic events that have recently occurred. This prayer was posted on his blog on July 8, one day after the death of five Dallas police officers:

As we mourn this week’s tragic events in Louisiana, Minnesota, and now Dallas, it is evident that we need God now more than ever. My prayer on this day of shock and heartbreak:

“God, our heavenly Father, our minds go back to the day when Jesus knelt beside his beloved city and wept, “If you, even you, had only known on this day what would bring you peace–but now it is hidden from your eyes” (Luke 19:42)

Pray For America and Orlando | Unite the USA

By Carrie Stoelting

061216orlandoshooting_1280x720ISIS claimed responsibility for the terrorist attack in Orlando. 50 people were killed and 53 more were wounded. It was the largest mass shooting in our nation’s history. This evil must be stopped once and for all.

Families are grieving. People are hurting. Please pray for those hurting and grieving in Orlando. Pray that all will personally know Christ and His comfort.

We think of Psalm 34:18 which says, “The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.” Click HERE to read more:

7 Reasons To Praise Jesus Christ As Lord

christ-817998_1280As we celebrate the death, burial and resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, we praise Him for the forgiveness of our sins and restoring our relationship back to God, the Father.

During this Easter season, we see Jesus Christ in His human form, coming to Earth to fulfill the work that God, the Father, has assigned Him. He healed the sick, taught the Word of God, and preached the Kingdom of Heaven. Jesus also gathered disciples so that they can continue the work He started after He left the Earth and returned to heaven where He sits at the right hand of His Father. Continue reading
